Straight Line Rollers

When using any straight line roller we advise to space them in the trench at 2 – 2.5 metre intervals where the cable drum is up to 10 tonnes in weight and at 1.5 – 2 metre intervals for drums greater than 10 tonnes.

Do not leave lead-sheathed cables on cable rollers overnight, as the cable may sag between the rollers, potentially causing damage
