What is a manhole cable roller used for? A manhole cable roller is a product designed to guide SWA and other types of cables smoothly into or out of manholes and joint boxes. Typically positioned at the edge of a manhole or pit entrance, it reduces friction and makes SWA and other types of cable installation or removal more efficient.

Cable rollers in general are designed to guide and support cables into trenches, preventing damage to the cable sheaths and avoiding excessive bending, reducing costs.
